Ar Log celebrate their 50th – come and join in the celebrations! A special evening of Welsh folk music, accompanied by Lowri Evans and Lee Mason.
2026 is a very special year for Ar Log. It’s highly unlikely that anyone would have imagined that the group would be celebrating its 50th anniversary when the band was formed back in 1976 at the Celtic Festival in Lorient, Brittany. But, following that first concert, on the advice of The Dubliners, the band has by now, performed throughout Europe, and North and South America promoting Welsh traditional music and songs.
In order to celebrate this milestone Ar Log is organising a tour of Wales and Germany, and releasing a new album, Ar Log VIII, early in the New Year. It’s our pleasure to have them perform here in Bala on the 24/04/25, with special guests Lowri Evans and Lee Mason.
